Hey again! It’s El!
Since st patty’s day (and my birthday, wink wink hint hint) is coming up, I felt I should share one of my favorite recipes with you. I found this a while back, and love it!
It’s a green velvet cake. Like red velvet.. but it’s green! I’m honestly most likely going to make some for my birthday celebrations the day before (since my bday is the day before and all…;)….).

I’m gonna tell yall how to do the cupcakes! :)
You will need:
-2.5 cups all purpose flour
-2 cups sugar
-1 tablespoon cocoa
-1 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon baking soda
-2 eggs
-1 cup oil (you can sub with yogurt too)
-1 cup buttermilk (just add a couple tablespoons of vinegar to 1 cup milk and let it sit for 10 minutes)
-1 tablespoon vinegar
-1 teaspoon vanilla
-1 oz green food coloring
 
O1. Grease down your pans. Whether this be for cake, cupcakes, or even huge cupcakes! And preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
O2. Grab a medium-size bowl and stir in the eggs, whisking it.
O3. Add in the rest of the liquid ingredients. (you can wait til the end to do the food coloring though.)
O4. Whisk the liquid ingredients until they’re blended.
O5. Now, place all the DRY ingredients in the bowl and mix well.
O6. Now you can add the food coloring if you waited to do so.
O7. Now, pour the batter into the pan/pans.
O8. If youre using an 8 inch baking pan, itll take about 22 minutes to bake. If youre making cupcakes, it will take about 16 minutes. Large cupcakes will take more, and mini cupcakes will take less.
O9. When they’re done, let them cool and then ice them! You can either grab a can from the store or make your own using 1 package of cream cheese, ¼ c. softened butter, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 2 lbs of powdered sugar, and whatever milk is needed.

So I have like major summer fever right now and its killing me.
So… ive decided to do a summer style group of tips!
I’m not abandoning the color htw series, but I want a little bit of a mixture so I don’t get bored! :)

So this summer style is tumblr girl-inspired. Not like aurora mohn or anything, more of the acacia-clark skater-casual type.

I love this outfit! I’m actually getting/making a top like this soon :)
It’s pretty simple, with white vans and some blue friendship bracelets :)

This outfit is for the more daring.
The black top balances the color of the shorts, though a white tank and black bandeau may be used too :)

Possibly my favorite outfit up here. i want one of those hoodies so bad! I’d wear it with a straight, teased ponytail :)

I lied. This is totally my favorite. I’d wear a black bandeau under the top, and add multicolored friendship bracelets that match the shoes :)
Straight, curly, braided, ponytail.. any hairstyle works with this!!

Hey, El again!
Here’s your tip on how to wear..
…you guessed it…
Yellow!
Not very many think of yellow much.
Me on the other hand.. I love it. It’s such a bold and unexpected color. And it looks really cute when styled right.
{outfit 1}
This is kind of a typical college outfit. I personally love this style. The vintage, soft, swingy-cut shirt contrasts nicely with the dark skinny jeans and dark flip flops. Wear this sith a high ponytail or pin-straight hair.
{outfit 2}
This is like what I wear to work out. Black tops mask any sweat, plus they make your top half tiny. The shorts cut off at a good length and make even the smallest of thigh gaps look a mile wide, as long as you don’t get the skin-tight pair.
{outfit 3}
I also like this outfit! It’s great for like a walk on the beach or something like that. The white dip-dye stripe is balanced really well with the flip flops. In addition to matching the necklace, keep your fingernails clear or a light, see-through pink and the toes a dark metallic blue.
{outfit 4}
A colder-weather outfit. White is a goof color to go with yellow. The grey shoes also add a nice touch. To finish off the look, add chic, simple jewelry in either silver or gold. Or, if youre feeling a little bit daring, do both! 

And so, I’m starting a bunch of new series. This one is
{how to wear}. This is the color edition. So I’ll be making sets on how to wear colors such as:
